This year Walk A Mile looks a little different!  

We are still forming teams, passing out cool Walk A Mile logoed t-shirts to those who have raised $50, and awarding the top three teams with the Golden Sneaker, Silver Slipper, and Bronze Bootie trophies. What IS new is that teams are encouraged to "Walk Where You Are!" You can choose where and when you walk. Where we walk is different but WHY WE WALK remains the same.  

New Contests and Prizes!

There will also be BADGES and prizes that you can win!  We have two new contests this year.  

• Team competition for the best banner that demostrates "why" we walk 
• Participation contest for those that decorate the best pink shoe

FEBRUARY 5TH—MARCH 20TH are the dates to participate by leading a Team, joining a Team or participating as an Individual. On March 20th we will host an online celebration and announce the total monies raised and winners of our FUN competitions! (To qualify to win one of our team or individual awards, all donations including cash and checks must be turned in by 4PM on Wednesday, March 17th.)

Our goal for 2021 is $150,000! Our Walk A Mile monies come from our generous sponsors and faithful teams and individuals who collect donations to support our women and women with children’s shelters and programs. In the last nineteen years the Walk A Mile fundraiser has raised over $1,700,000 to support the women and children. Help us make our 20th Anniversary Walk the best yet!

Walk A Mile t-shirt information

Once a participant earns their t-shirt badge, they will be sent an e-mail confirmation and will be able to pick up their t-shirt at the Care & Share Store, 314 W. Mulberry, watch for more details on date and times. Participants will need to bring in their e-mail confirmation and photo ID. Additional t-shirts and past Walk A Mile Logo gear can also be purchased in the store.
